Is it just me, or has life been a little cuckoo lately? Between publishing book 3, teaming up with Author J. Hutchinson for a new venture (oh yeah. I'll explain), and working on 3 other books at the same time, I'm losing it.
So a couple of months ago, author J. Hutchison and I were asked if we would ever consider a co-write. It hadn't really come to us before that, but then we talked and we're like...um yeah! Let's do it.
First it started as a product of J. Hutchison and Ryan Marie. But the more we talked about ideas and stories, the more we realized that we have more that we'd like to share as co-authors. So, after talking for hours --literally-- we decided to release our first book as Aubrey Ryan.
Doubling the Odds, our first novel, is a duet that will feature two characters from my Through the Fire universe, and JHutch's (that's what I lovingly call her) Lupine Valley series. Dani, Luna's best friend, is getting her own happy ending. She'll come upon a sweet talking, handsome golden retriever by the name of Keith Ward.
That is part 1 of the duet. Part 2 will feature two more characters from each of us. One you have already met, and another that will soon make his appearance.
Be sure to follow us on instagram to keep up to date on all the latest.
Add to that Bishop's book that is coming along steadily, the anthology that I am a part of and will be out in July, and a hockey collaboration with some amazing authors coming in May (mine will be here in June).
Talk about madness. Oh yeah! I forgot. I finally got the store up and running, and will be burning the midnight oil in my production shop, aka my home office.
While we're at it, let's pile on baseball season for my youngest that takes up weekends and a few nights a week, and you have the perfect recipe for full on mental breakdown. But don't worry...I'm okay. I have medication for that. <wink wink>
One bright light I am really looking forward to is our upcoming spring break trip to Florida, where we will watch our beloved Astros. Bucket list item checked.
How is life for you, lately? Is it the retrograde that has you in a tizzy? Any plans for spring break? I love hearing from my readers, so drop me a line.
Until next time...
Ryan
